Travel

Göteborg has two main airports: Landvetter Airport (GOT), served by all major European airlines, and Göteborg City Airport (GCA), served by Ryanair. Venue

The venue for the 29th SSAI Congress is Göteborg Convention Centre in Svenska Mässan (Swedish Fair), located by Korsvägen in the center of Göteborg. Korsvägen is the first stop for Landvetter Airport Coches and the location for Hotel Gothia Towers with 704 rooms.

The venue is extremely central. The Göteborg Convention Centre and The Swedish Exhibition Centre are situated in the heart of the city’s event area, within walking distance you also have Avenyn with restaurants, pubs and shops. Close to Göteborg´s highly acclaimed amusement park, entertainment and sporting facilities such as Liseberg, Scandinavium, Universeum Science Discovery Centre and World Cultural Museum.

Language

English is the official language of the congress. No interpretation to other languages will be available. In Sweden, English is widely understood and spoken.

Weather

The weather in September is often very pleasant, with temperatures reaching over +15 to 18°C during the daytime. It can however be warmer or chillier, therefore bring light clothes and a woollen sweater as well as a raincoat/umbrella in case of light shower.
